Life in the Adriatic

The forthcoming life tide pouring into the Mediterranean depression, and the currents that brought diversities of life forms, created the unique beauty of the Adriatic. In the sea that swerved and danced around 1185 islands, islets and reefs of the Croatia’s coast, that crawled into thousands of holes, caves and ditches, each species found its own favourite location for creating new life forms. That new life started creating a new and constantly changing spectrum of colours in a gray-blue infinity, on the ground that waves had been carving and winds sharpening for millions of years. A new history of life, in once to the Sun exposed and now mysteriously hidden depths of Croatia’s undersea world, was being created.
